The 2nd Annual Federal Technology Session will be led by Baly Ambegaoker, CEO, Centerpoint and Executive Board Member of WPI.
Baly Ambegaoker currently serves as Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of CENTERPOINT, Inc. of Reston, VA. CENTERPOINT provides federal government tailored enterprise mobile solutions, cybersecurity lifecycle management and IT governance.
Ambegaoker joined the company after serving roles with CACI International, Inc. — joining through the acquisition of IDL Solutions, the company she founded and led as CEO — and later serving as CACI Health and Human Services Client Executive.
Prior to that Ms. Baly Ambegaoker founded IDL Solutions in 1993 and served as its Chief Executive Officer and President. In 2006, Ms. Ambegaoker was elected as Vice Chair of the Industry Advisory Council Small Business Shared Interest Group. She has also served as chairperson of the Wisconsin Women’s Board of Directors by the Department of Defense, board member of the African American Cultural Council, the Council of Small Business Executives, the Governor’s E-Government Council, Goodwill Industries Technology Business Advisory Council and executive board member of Wisconsin Women Entrepreneurs. She accompanied the then Governor of Wisconsin, Tommy Thompson on missions to India, Australia and New Zealand. She also received many awards, including the 40 Under 40 Award for Entrepreneurs in recognition of her business skills.
Ms. Ambegaoker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business and an MBA from the New York University’s Stern School of Business.
