Event Description:

For the most part, the products and/or services purchased by the government are driven by the maintenance, repair and operations of government activities such as  – offices, buildings, military equipment, or for example, maintaining the air traffic control system.

Occasionally the government’s resources must also be used to assist with response and recovery efforts associated with natural disasters. Due to the immediate need and lightning quick response times, there are federal programs and registries where a company indicates their interest in supporting the response effort.

Being ready to respond as a contractor requires an understanding of the programs and the types of support that are typically required. This presentation will provide an overview of federal response activities and  programs and how your firm may be able to prepare to support these efforts.
