17th Annual National Institutes of Health Small Buiness Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer Conference

Washington State is pleased to be hosting the 17th Annual National Institutes of Health (NIH) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Conference, to be held October 27 – 29, 2015 at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center. This three day conference will provide attendees an opportunity to learn more about the $780 million dollars of annual NIH funding available exclusively for small businesses to perform innovative research and build new businesses based on their technologies.

Over 100 NIH SBIR and STTR program managers and federal staffers, including representatives from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA), along with 500 health and science managers, entrepreneurs, business executives, non-profit and university researchers, and consulting organizations will convene in Seattle for this important conference.

Attendees discover how to successfully submit an application; tips for approaching partners and investors; the types of technical assistance programs NIH offers to awardees; and have the chance to discuss specific questions with NIH SBIR and STTR subject matter experts.
