Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI) Annual Meeting – Milwaukee, WI

WPI is celebrating 31 years, but it is not about us. It is about the businesses we serve and the services and products they provide to our country.
Join the WPI Board of Directors, government contractors from around the state and business and government influencers for a discussion on the “State of Government Contracting in the State” and how to expand Wisconsin’s contracting power to truly increase businesses sales, profits and jobs. The State of Wisconsin enjoys a significant amount of work supporting U.S. Navy contracts. Mr. Ed West, Director of U.S. Navy Surface Ship Programs for Milwaukee-based DRS Power & Control Technologies, Inc., will provide an update on current and planned Naval programs, technologies and initiatives. While Defense manufacturing has historically been a strong industry in Wisconsin’s federal sales, trends indicate the State’s federal marketplace footprint is expanding. Mr. David Zvenyach, Principal, Zvenyach LLC, previously GSA Federal Acquisition Services Deputy Commissioner and Executive Director, 18F, will address the opportunity for future opportunities and how to grow the federal marketplace footprint. Discussion will center around how best to increase opportunities for Wisconsin businesses in the government marketplace.
