The State of Illinois Capital Development Board invites you to join virtually on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 10:15am (CDT) for a Preoutreach Meeting on Project CDB830-030-162 UIC CDRLC.
The new 135,000 SFT Computer Design, Research, and Learning Center (CDRLC) at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) will consolidate the currently fragmented Computer & Science Department in a new home. It will co-locate it with a large cluster of university-administered classrooms at the heart of the east campus. The CDRLC will include a 1,200 SFT robotics lab and 16,000 SFT of classroom space. It will be the new home for UIC’s Electronic Visualization Laboratory, an internationally renowned interdisciplinary research lab.
