The US SBA will be ending self-certification of Women Owned Small Business this year. In summer 2020, the WOSB and EDWOSB certification process changed. Effective October 15, 2020, self-certification is no longer an option. Women owned small businesses can certify through SBA’s FREE online certification at https://beta.certify.sba.gov/.
Effective July 15, 2020, women-owned small businesses (WOSB) and economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses (EDWOSB) are required to obtain certification of their WOSB/EDWOSB status to compete for set aside or sole source federal contracts.
This webinar will walk you through the new process, including: does my NAIC qualify; market research of set-aside or sole source opportunities; what documents do I need for WOSB vs EDWOSB. Many Federal government agencies are not meeting their Women Owned Business goals. If you are a women owned small business considering entering the Federal market or are a current Federal contractor, you should attend.
