The goal of the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce is to provide financial resources and technical assistance to business and community development activities that improve economic opportunities in low-income and underserved communities.

Why HWCC?

The first generation of the Hmong businesses consisted largely of small grocery stores that catered to mainly Hmong customers. For over two decades Hmong businesses remained small, isolated, poorly managed and without much support of any kind. Many suffered from a lack of resources and a lack of understanding of what it takes to build successful businesses in this country. HWCC is fulfilling this void. It is the supporting network for all Wisconsin Hmong businesses to become successful.

HWCC provides assistance in business planning, market analysis, marketing strategies, effective day-to-day business operation and much more. In addition, it acts as an advocate on behalf of the Hmong businesses and economic issues that affect Hmong businesses. Furthermore, HWCC is a forum for Hmong entrepreneurs to discuss successes and challenges as well as offer one another support resulting in win-win for all of Wisconsin.
